A bowl with erotic fetish drawing by Italian artist Alessandro Merlin.
Approximately: W10cm x H5.5cm x D10cm
Alessandro was born in Belluno, a small town in the Dolomites region of Italy. He studied graphics in Germany and settled in the Arsenale district of Venice in the early '80s.
Influenced by artists like Jean Cocteau, Aubrey Beardsley, Hugo Pratt and Tom of Finland, the eroticism of Alessandro's designs evoke themes of play and seduction, whilst echoing the pagan world of the ancient Mediterranean.
