A garden lunch to celebrate the autumn equinox

Will Martin - Davy Pittoors-7.jpg

18 September 2022

To celebrate the changing of the seasons we hosted an intimate lunch for old and new friends in Will Martin's Camberwell garden.

Cooking and bringing people together for a meal is an important part of Will's identity and very much an extension of his art practice. This Supper Club combined the comfort foods of his childhood with the collaborative process of queer homemaking. Will cooked us a three-course meal and served everything on his handmade tableware, Owen Duff curated the playlist and naturally hand-dyed napkins were created by Eleni Avramidou.

We both take great pleasure in blurring the lines between art and the domestic, so it was a joy to collaborate on this afternoon of creativity, food and conversation.
